READY FOR CHANGE

A single mother and frontline volunteer in the DTES, Marie Noelle Rosa is intimately aware of the suffering caused by inaction. As a speaker of Mauritian Creole, French, English, and Mandarin, she keenly listens to Vancouverites who aren’t used to being heard.

Marie Noelle is determined to heal our broken systems. Proud of her recent citizenship, she sought a career in local schools and enlisted with CUPE-15, knowing the value of knowledge + solidarity

Marie Noelle’s priorities for City Council:

  • Tackling the crisis affecting the residents of downtown Eastside
  • Addressing the needs of the population facing gender-related violence
  • Making housing more affordable and accessible for all

“Vancouver should be a safe & thriving environment where everyone can enjoy decent housing.”
